Seeking a Nurse Practitioner position for hospital is the El Paso area. Provides primary care to the hospitalized patients in the Ortho Neuro inpatient unit.

As a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner you are involved in the education of patients, families, physicians, and staff. You?ll provide diagnosis, treatment, consultation and follow up under supervision of the physician; assist with discharge assessment and planning; involved in the education of patients, families, physicians, and staff.
Bilingual Spanish preferred, medical Spanish very helpful
The ideal candidate is MSN • Nurse Practitioner with experience in acute care and management of acute care patients preferred. Experience in Ortho/Neuro as NP or RN. Effective leadership, teaching, research and communication skills required.-Ability to demonstrate complex clinical skills within the framework of the advanced practice nurse. Current certification in CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support required

*Will consider a new grad NP with previous acute nursing experience and is in the process of getting TX NP License
