250+ bed hospital with 6 beds in L&D unit



You will give individualized comprehensive nursing care to meet patients' physical, psychological, spiritual, social, cultural and educational needs.  The RN provides the best possible preventative, supportive, and rehabilitative nursing care to meet the needs of Obstetrical and low risk new born patients based upon the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure; coordinates functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital in a spirit that fosters positive working relationships.

  

Qualifications

 Required Job Qualifications include:

 State of Alaska current licensure as an RN required

 2 years’ experience acute care work history in L& D required.

 Current certification - BLS & ACLS required

 NRP certification required within 6 months of hire

 Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

 Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.

 Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
