Nurse Manager – Med/Surg Trauma – Tampa Bay, Florida

As the Nurse Manager you will be responsible for the Medical Surgical Trauma with over 30 bed unit. The department sees most types of traumas from car accidents to falling off roofs.

This Level II Trauma Center is seeking an experienced manager who is good at creating a well-managed team. Ideal person can focus and push both themself and others to achieve targets, budgets and results despite opposition or barriers. You should be someone who brings a sense of urgency to situations and demonstrates an active approach; be willing to get involved in order to increase the pace and achieve goals and objectives.

Your duties include:

Supervises RNs, LPNs, PCTs, unit secretary, monitor technicians, volunteers, students, social workers and other technical staff in relation to providing excellent patient care. 

Provide optimum levels of leadership, including encouragement, training and support in order to help others achieve results and meet budget.

Requirements:

Must have FL RN license

Minimum of 2 yrs as a Nurse Manager

Must have strong communication skills, effective leader skills, problem solving skills and excellent customer service skills
